The Importance of Giving Back
The Hive Arts Academy is a youth enrichment program designed to guide local youth from grades 8-12 as they transition into high school and beyond. Its goal is to encourage, inspire and nurture this group to become responsible, contributing citizens of the community through engaging workshops, fun projects, educational field trips, and post-secondary resources that develop interest in continuing education, training, and career readiness.
The program is now providing workshops in advanced art, culinary arts, sewing, and engineering. It has partnered with Luna Fine Art Gallery for a visiting artist program where art professionals share their special skills and crafts.
